Shadow of Evil Chapter 10: Captured


"Let me get this straight..." Jadow said, pacing the room, his face and body features still hidden in the shadows. "I ask you to bring me Phantom, and you bring me a moron, and a flying horse..."
"Ummm...yeah, that pretty much sums it up..." Jade said.
"May I ask, WHY?!"
"Well, Phantom wasn't there and-"
"Phantom wasn't there?!" Jadow said. "That is NOT good...shes probably on her way here RIGHT now!"
"ANYWAY..." Jade said. "So then i saw Matt, and i brought him here because he's kinda cute-"
"NO HE'S NOT!!" Every other girl on the planet shouted in unison, SENSING that they should say that at that ONE moment...
"...Anyway, and i brought the horse here because he's a famous scientist!" Jade said.
"I've never heard of such a scientist..." Jadow said.
"Well he's famous in my time..." Jade said. "He's, like, a SUPER geniuse, he cured the common cold! I'm sure he can make it so that we don't even NEED Ashley..."
"Interesting..." Jadow said. "Kain, bring the white horse with the wings to me..."
"And whatabout the idiot?" Kain said.
"Meh...do whatever you want to him..."

MEANWHILE...
"How did this even HAPPEN?!" Pegasus shouted. "I was just delivering an order!!"
"And i was suposed to be whatching Annie!" Matt said. Both were in a dark dungeon. It wasn't like the room Maddy was locked up in. There were HARD stone floors, iron bars on the windows, and various skeletons...
"Wait, weren't you delivering Love Rays?" Matt asked.
"Yeah, this girl ordered a dozen of them..."
"What happened to them?"
"I don't know..."
"Well, thats not good..." Matt said. Suddenly, the door opened, and Kain came in. He shut the door and sat down.
"Uh, hi..." Matt said.
"Do you know my sister?" Kain asked both of them.
"Um, whos your sister?" Matt asked.
"Madison." Kain answered.
"Ummm...i don't know a Madison..." Matt said.
"He means Maddy you idiot!" Pegasus said.
"Oh yeah...wait, how did you know her name?" Matt asked.
"It was on the form she fille dout when she ordered the Love Rays..." Pegasus said.
"And how do you know her?" Kain asked them.
"Well, shes the girl that constantly obsesses over me, chases after me, tries to poison me with love potions EVERY DAY, and, if it isn't already obvious, has a HUGE crush on me...she scares me..." matt said, fear in his voice.
"I didn't know Maddy had a crush on ANYONE...you'd think the people down in Research would notice that..." Kain said. "What about you?"
"Umm...she ordered about ten love rays from me..." Pegasus answered.
"Ok. You, Wings, come with me..." Kain said.
"My names Matt..." Matt said, confused.
"Not you! The horse..."
LATER, IN THE MAIN CHAMBER...
"Hello Pegasus..." Jadow said.
"Uh, hi..." Pegasus said. "Why am I here?"
"Well, I'd like to offer you a job here..." Jadow said.
"Uh huh...what kind of job?"
"Well, we'll fund you and profide any equipment you need in exchange that every now and then you build something for us..." Jadow said.
"Whats the catch?" Pegasus said. "I mean, besides me having to build anything you say..."
"Well, aside from our ocasional requests, nothing..." Jadow said.
"And if i refuse?" Pegasus asked.
"I'm sure if you don't take this job, some zoo somewhere would be THRILLED to have you..." Jadow said grinning.
"Ok, I accept..." Pegasus said.
"Good...now for your first assignment, you have to help us recreate the Seven Deadly Sins..." Jadow said, leading Pegasus to the chameber the souless clones were in.
"Umm...Sins aren't physical entities, there...sins..." Pegasus said.
"Oh, they ARE physical entities, and were in the process of making there oposites..."
"Ah yes...the old "Make Evil Versions of Good Characters For An Evil Version Of Another Cahracter" plot...i don't actualy think thats been used since that one episode of Earthworm Jim..." Pegasus said.
"Um...yeah..." Jadow said. "Now, were recreating how Warui here..."
"Hey" Warui said.
"Hey." Pegasus said.
"...Was created. Now we basicaly have everything, but the witch who cast the spell that made Waruis existence POSSIBLE won't help us OR tell us the spell she used..."
"Clones?" Pegasus said. "Sireously? All you need to do is make a ray gun the makes polar opposites of anyone hit be it..."
"Interesting idea..." Jadow said.
"Though it CAN backfire..." Pegasus explained. "Like say we hit a copy made with the ray with the ray, it would create a perfect copy ogf the original, with this, the original can make a whole army of themself to defeat us..."
"And how would you know this?" Jadow asked.
"One, i'm a geniuse, two, thats how it happenes on Earthworm Jim..." Pegasus explained.
"Well thats a stupid cartoon..." Warui said.
"Indeed...how soon can you have this ray ready?" Jadow asked.
"Ummm...0.8 seconds...i made one last week..." Pegasus said. "It was Saturday, and i was realy bored so-"
"We'll send you and Kain to retrieve the ray..." Jadow said.
"...Ok..." Pegasus said. "But we still need the originals to shoot it with..."
"Oh, i wouldn't worry about that..." Jadow said. "In fact, i guerenty there coming to us RIGHT now..." Jadow laughed evily.

MEANWHILE, OUTSIDE...

Phantom, while invisible, snuck up to the two guards at the front gate and took them out.
'So far, so good...' She thought.
Pikachu and Rika followed behind her to the security system. Pikachu thunderbolted it, overloading it and disableing the system. The continued onward, into the building. They didn't run into a SINGLE guard, which was pretty suspicious...
Phantom suddenly stoped dead in her tracks.
"Whats wrong?" Piakchu asked.
"I-I sense a HUGE concentration of evil close by..." Phantom said, a slight sense of fear in her voice.
"How close?" Rika asked. Suddenly a huge blast of energy blew threw the wall and hit Phantom.
"Oh, pretty close I'd say..." Jade said, stepping through the hole in the wall.

Later...
They were all captured. Pikachu and Rika were restrained with rubber, preventing them from escaping. Phantom had been taken to the labratory for God knew waht, Pegasus still hadn't come back, and Matt was still captured...
"Well, this sucks..." Pikachu said.
MEANWHILE...
Maddy and Warui were walking together down the hall to the dungeon.
"Were are we going Warui?" Maddy asked cheerfuly.
"To kill someone in the dungeon." Warui said, grinning evily as he walked.
"Why?" maddy asked.
"Because he's the ONLY thing that can ruin this now..." Warui said. He got to the dungeon, unlocked it, and stepped inside.
"Hi." Matt said. "Are you here to feed us or something, cause we've been here hours and we haven't been fed ANYTHING..." Warui walked up to Matt, and punched him upside the head.
"Ok ok!! We'll go WITHOUT diner!" Matt said. Warui punched him again. Pikachu and Rika, needless to say, was enjoying the view. That is, until Warui's hands started to glow and a huge energy ball formed, pointing right at Matt!!
"Well Matt..." Warui said, grinning fro mear to ear evily. "I guess its time for you to die!! Say hi to Max for me!!" Warui charged up the attack, laughing maniacly as it charged. Matt looked at the HUGE ball of energy, TERRIFIED. Warui finished charging, and...
WHACK!!
Warui hit the ground with a hard thud. Warui looked to see what hit him, and saw a VERRY pissed off Maddy.
"Oh shi-" Warui said, as Maddy punched him again, sending him flying across the room and hitting the wall HARD.
"Crap!" Warui said, whiping the blood from his mouth. "You broke my control again...I guess i'll have to-"
He was interupted by another hard punch, this time sending him THREW the wall.
NOT!! THIS!! TTIME!!!" Maddy screamed, punching him with every word.
"DAMN!" Pikachu shouted as he whatched Maddy beat the living shit out of Warui.
"You possesed me, modified my mind, made me your mindless slave, and now your going to pay for it!!" Maddy screamed, delivering one final punch. A half-dead Warui pased threw the ground to escape, causing Maddy to pucnh straight through the floor.
"DAMN IT!!" She screamed. She slowly calmed dopwn and started breaking the restraints on Pikachu, Rika, and Matt(hugging Matt first with a nearly fataly tight hug).
MEANWHILE...

"Is the ray ready?" Jadow asked.
"Umm...yeah, i have it set so all we need to do is blast Phantom, the Seven Sins withing her will instantly be copied without the need of shooting each of them individualy." Pegasus answered, putting the finishing touchs on the ray.
"This won't create another Warui, will it?" Kain asked. ONE was enough...
"Umm...no. I have it set to only copy the sins.
"Your wasting your time!" Phantom said. She was straped to a table. "There not even with me right now!"
Pegasus walked over with a small device and scanned her.
"Uh huh...shes lying. It'll work..." Pegasus said.
"I REALTY don't like you,..." Phantom said to Pegasus.
"I;ll live..." Pegasus answered. Before he could fire the ray, Warui phased into the room, collapsing on the ground.
"M-Maddys..freed the prisoners..." He said weakly.
"What?!" Jadow shouted. "I TOLD you not to rely on your powers to restrain her!! Hurry up and fire the ray!"
"I can't1 Unless you want the ciopies to be only 3 quarters finished! It needs to charge!" Pegasus yelled. Just then, Maddy, Rika, Pikachu, Matt, and Ashley burt through the wall. Ashley cast a spell, and suddenly the restrants on Phantom came undone.
"SHES FREE!!! Warui, Jade, you take care of Phantom and Maddy! Kain, you take care of the rest!" Jadow commanded.
Phantom ran to the others, already prepared for the fight. She ran next to Maddy.
"Temporary truce?" Maddy asked Phantom, a sireous look on her face.
"Temporary truce." Phantom said, an equaly sireous look on her face. They both launched at Warui and Jade. While Phanto mand Warui were an a fierce fight, Maddy confronted Jade.
"Who are you?" Maddy asked. She looke djust like her...
"What the matter?" Jade said, grinning evily and shooting a huge blast at Maddy, sending her flying. "Don't regognise your own daughter?"
Kain was to preocupied with the two pikachus electrocuting him then with Matt(who wasn't doing anything anyway). His chain was transformed to have a blade aat the end and he was swinging it madly at them, narrowly missing each time.
"Its done charging!!" Pegasus yelled.
"Fire it at Phantom NOW!!" Jadow commanded.
Pegasus aimed,he couldn't get a clear shot. He fired and...
It hit Matt. Everyone looked as a golden light enveloped the room. When it died down, there, standing next to Matt ready to fight,surrounded by a golden light, was Max. He turned to Maddy.
"Hey Doll, what I miss?"
